Dan did a wonderful job converting my bathroom from a very tired room with covered tub and shower, ugly tile and wood panelling to a sleek, classically modern, easy to clean, lovely to look and use little haven with walk-in shower. Apparently, there were plenty of surprises discovered during the demo and all were resolved fully. I was not on site during the reno, trusting Dan to understand what I wanted and needed. My trust was well placed. He gave great advice before, made good decisions during, and ensured all was what I wanted and needed before the final sign off. We live in a rural area and tried for 2 years to find a contractor to effect the structural repairs our house needed with nothing but the frustration of no shows and will call you back promises. Finally we found Dan and his helper Ryan on Houzz, Dan made all his appointments timely and came up with a sensible effective plan to reframe the all the load bearing framing in our basement that had been done so badly originally and was now rotting. He was dead on with his assessment of what was needed and his estimate was bang on like his work. They were both conscientious and worked diligently even with Covid 19 protocols in place, their work was done professionally and timely for the price quoted. Being new to the area we contacted a few contractors to get quotes on our home office project. Dan Santoro immediately stood out from the group with his budget conscious approach and his overall knowledge/approach to the job. Dan also is well educated in current market trends and helped us navigate the most cost-effective way to reach our end goal of our project. Our first renovation in 2012 was for our kitchen. We had a flood and our kitchen needed to be gutted. Dan replaced our floor, cupboards, counters and backsplash. He also custom built us an island with lots of storage and a beautiful granite counter top. It was beautiful and very functional. Our second renovation job was smaller but well executed as well.
